Anchor Hocking of Lancaster, Ohio produced ovenproof glassware ovenware bakeware with the "Fire-King" trademark from 1930 - 1970. Fire-King kitchenware utensils came in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Anchor Hocking's Jade-ite (common name is Jane Ray) was a pale green color manufactured between 1940 - 1960. It is highly collectible (and therefore expensive). Anchor Hocking's Bubble is another popular collectible and was produced from 1930 - 1960. Ruby red is a hot color to look for in that pattern. Early American Prescut glass (some call it "Star of David") was popular from 1960 - 1970 and currently has a large following among vintage antiques and collectibles enthusiasts. Early American Prescut glass is inexpensive and still easy to find. During the 1950s, several copper tint items were introduced. Most were discontinued because the tint wore off easily. Many Baby Boomers grew up with Fire-King products and still have fond memories of their favorite foods served up by a loving Mom.
