Collecting McCoy pottery is a hobby for many Americans. McCoy pottery (also known as Brush McCoy or Nelson McCoy) was located in Roseville, Ohio. They manufactured pottery from 1910 until the late 1990s. Today vintage McCoy pottery is probably the most widely recognized Ohio pottery due to the variety and quantities of items they produced. McCoy Pottery is most famous for cookie jars, planters, and kitchen items. Ownership of the pottery changed so many times that collectors may find a variety of marks under different names. All marks were stamped in the mold.
