Vintage Pyrex Collectibles (Glassware, Ovenware, Bakeware, Cookware)

Collecting vintage Pyrex is fun because there is so much of it around and the designs are so varied. Pyrex glassware has been a staple in American kitchens for over 80 years. Pyrex has produced an astonishing array of kitchenwares such as flameware coffe pots, coffee makers, teapots, double boilers, drinkups, casseroles, custard cups, refrigerator dishes, pie plates and shakers. Baby Boomers grew up with Pyrex. To this day, every time I see a Pyrex bowl I instantly think of my mother making banana pudding.

Remember, to keep your colorfully painted Pyrex beautiful, never, never, never put it in the dishwasher. The high heat and caustic detergents will fade the colors.
